Gas Training Courses
Logic4training provides a wide range of Approved Certification Scheme (ACS) gas-training courses, covering domestic gas and commercial gas appliances for both natural gas and LPG applications.
Logic4training’s domestic ACS gas training courses include:
Core domestic gas safety courses, CCN1 – training and initial assessment, plus reassessment; for those operatives renewing their ACS after the five-year cycle. Candidates can be assessed on a wide-range of domestic appliances.
For new entrants into the domestic gas market, Logic4training’s Approved Prior Learning (APL) new entrants courses include a foundation course, for those candidates that have no relevant experience relating to the gas industry and ACS domestic gas-training for operatives with plumbing, heating, pipefitting or similar, transferable skills.
Other domestic gas courses include Logic Certification’s/IDHEE’s Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating Certificate, designed to prepare domestic heating installers for ‘self-certification’ required by Part L.
Gas safety awareness and management training course, aimed at those responsible for the safety of operatives carrying out work on domestic gas systems.
Heating and hot water system design specification (foundation), designed for operatives who need to be able to understand and apply the criteria stipulated in the ‘Domestic heating design guide’.
Logc4training’s commercial ACS gas training courses include:
Core commercial gas safety courses, COCN1 – training and initial assessment, plus reassessment; for those operatives renewing their ACS after the five-year cycle. Commercial gas safety courses also include changeover packages for those domestic installers looking to up-skill into the commercial market. Candidates can be assessed on a wide-range of commercial appliances, including commercial catering equipment.
For new entrants into the commercial gas market, Logic4training’s Approved Prior Learning (APL) new entrants courses include Commercial Heating and Commercial Catering for experienced operatives with some commercial gas experience.

LPG gas training courses include changeover packages from natural gas and installation modules on a range of applications, including leisure boats, residential park homes and boats & yachts.
