Description
The Legionella Prevention & Water Treatment Training Course is designed to enable installers to understand the requirements of the ACoP Guidance Document L8, HSE guidance, British Standards and Water Regulations. With the increased publicity surrounding recent outbreaks of Legionnaires, effective water treatment is of paramount importance to those carrying out installation & maintenance of hot & cold water supply systems and to those who are responsible for managing the properties. The course is primarily aimed at domestic and small commercial water systems and does not include cooling towers. On completion of the course the installer will be able to undertake risk assessments and carry out disinfection using a range of methods including bleached, chlorine and silver hydrogen peroxide. The cost of this Water Treatment Training Course includes all training material, assessment and certification fee.
