Description
This Gas Safety Awareness training course is designed for Managers, Surveyors, Supervisors who have a duty and responsibility for operatives carrying out work on gas systems but who do not work on gas systems or hold CCN1. The course will cover the following fundamental areas to managing gas safety including:-
1 - Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations, including history, definitions, use.
2 - 2nd tier technical and regulatory documents that affect the industry
3 - Health and Safety at Work Act
4 - Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS), including defining competence and applying ACS to job roles
5 - Basic Boiler Types, Principles and Fluing, including unsafe installations and recognition
6 - Industry Unsafe Situations Procedure, including Riddor
7 - Carbon Monoxide including risks, symptoms and actions
8 - Paperwork systems and recording
9 - Landlords procedures and obligations
