Description
The Heating & Hot Water System Design & Specification Foundation Course has been designed for operatives who need to be able to understand and apply the criteria laid out in the "Domestic Heating Design Guide" for specifying and designing of wet central heating & hot water systems. The candidate will cover the following topics;
- Comfort Conditions
- System Types
- System Design
- Heat Loss Calculations
- System Specification & Sizing
The course would be particularly suitable for candidates who have undertaken the APL programme or operatives looking for a better knowledge & understanding of wet central heating and hot water system design.
The course fee includes a copy of the Domestic Heating Design Guide and certification fee.
On completion the course is awarded credits towards the IDHEE Diploma for Domestic Heating.
