Description
This course is designed specifically to recognise and eliminate the dangers of incorrect ladder usage.
Topics covered include an appreciation of the Working at Height Regulations 2005, relevant current legislation, Ladder Certification and Standards, available types of ladders and steps, and their care and maintenance. Additionally, risk assessments and user responsibility are also covered.
Assessment: Written and practical to prove competency
Outcome: Logic4training certificate of attendance with course content
The course includes:
- Working at Height regulations
- Safe lifting, lowering and use of ladders and steps, including types of ladders, methods of securing
- Maintenance
- Storage do’s and don’ts
- Practical/fault finding
