Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2) electrotechnical course - refresher training

AM2 Electrical course overview:

Logic4training’s Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2) revision course can be completed by candidates prior to undertaking the full AM2 assessment - the electrotechnical industry standard assessment for electrical competence, which forms an essential part of the electrical Advanced Apprenticeship.

The AM2 electrical assessment takes place only at the Luton centre which is an approved centre under the National Electrotechnical (NET) network.

Course duration: 2 days

Course cost: £190 + VAT

Entry requirements:

A self assessment checklist must be completed before the AM2 course can be undertaken. This can be emailed to the candidate by Logic4training, or downloaded here.

Do I need this AM2 course?

The AM2 refresher course is designed for candidates about to embark on their AM2 assessment. It is not a mandatory requirement, but provides an opportunity to revise key topics covered in the AM2 assessment.

AM2 course content/syllabus: AM2 revision covers all aspects of installation, inspection, testing, certification and fault finding; including Steel Wired Armour (SWA), motors and FP.

Reading material/text book required?

All tools, test equipment and books are provided by Logic4training for the candidates use.
