Gas Safety (CCN1) course (no appliances) |
Description
Core Domestic Natural Gas Safety (CCN1) training and assessment course (initial and re-assessment)
Gas Safety Course overview:
Logic4training’s Core Domestic Natural Gas Safety (CCN1) course is a necessary requirement of the ACS (Nationally Accredited Certification Scheme.) Heating engineers may choose to undertake the CCN1 as a stand-alone course if their appliance qualifications expire at a different time, or if they no longer carryout practical work, but wish to maintain their membership with the Gas Safe Register.
For candidates whose qualifications expired more than 12 months ago, initial training and initial assessment are required. For those whose qualifications expired less than 12 months ago, re-assessment training and re-assessment are required. Logic4training’s Core Natural Gas Safety course covers both routes. The CCN1 course is a pre-requisite to all appliance modules and assessments. Logic4training also offers CCN1 plus appliances training and assessment packages (initial and re-assessment).
To join the Gas Safe Register and trade legally as a heating engineer, installers must have met the criteria of ACS. The Accredited Certification Scheme covers all areas of gas work including domestic, LPG, commercial heating and commercial catering.
Course duration: 4 days for initial CCN1 training & initial assessment, 3 ½ days for re-assessment training & re-assessment
Course cost: Training £170 + VAT
Assessment £350 + VAT
Certification fee £65 + VAT
Entry requirements:
Operatives who are renewing their CCN1 qualification can attend either the initial assessment or re-assessment route, depending on when their existing CCN1 qualification expires i.e. re-assessment for less than 12 months from expiry and initial for more than 12 monthsfrom expiry. Candidates who have never held this qualification but have transferable skills and experience may be eligible for the Logic4training Approved Prior Learning programme, which culminates in Initial CCN1 training and assessment.
