Renewable energy training courses
Logic4training provides a range of renewable energy training courses for experienced installers wishing to expand their skills. Courses include domestic energy assessor training, solar thermal hot water, solar photovoltaic (PV), and ground and air source heat pumps.
Energy and carbon saving are increasingly a concern for consumers looking to save money and the planet, so installers need to be trained in order to take advantage of this burgeoning market. In addition to the technicalities behind installing renewable technologies, Logic4training’s renewable energy training courses provide candidates with a background to the renewables market, plus information regarding routes to funding, such as the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS).
Logic4training’s renewable energy training courses include:
Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) training course (6020-01) – City & Guilds level three diploma for DEA, allowing successful candidates to assess and issue domestic energy performance certificates. On completion, candidates are automatically registered with the H&VCA, one of the recognised accreditation bodies for domestic energy assessors.
Solar thermal domestic hot water heating training course – entry-level qualification for experienced domestic heating installers or plumbers. The solar thermal domestic hot water heating training covers all major system and panel types.
Solar photovoltaic (PV) training course – entry-level qualification for experienced domestic/commercial electricians. The course covers the predominant PV systems (grid connected) and training includes regulations, system design, installation and servicing.
Heat pump training course – entry-level qualification in ground and air source heat pumps, for experienced heating installers wishing to install air and ground source heat pumps in domestic and small commercial properties.
