Working at Height Course overview

Logic4training's Working at Height course is those whose work could involve exposure to a fall from height, whether in construction, maintenance, cleaning or access. The course is also designed specifically to recognise and eliminate the dangers of incorrect use of steps and ladders.

Course content/syllabus

Candidates will gain knowledge and skills in the following areas:

  • Legal requirements and liabilities
  • Hazards and control measures
  • Scaffolding and other working platforms
  • Ladders and step ladders
  • Implementation of risk assessments
  • Working at Height regulations
  • Safe lifting, lowering and use of ladders and steps, including types of ladders, methods of securing
  • Maintenance
  • Storage do’s and don’ts
  • Practical / fault finding

Candidates will be given a Logic4training certificate of attendance.
