Are you looking to take up the City & Guilds 2395 in Periodic Inspection and Testing course? Have you considered training with us instead? We run the LCL Awards RQF Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations which could see you find out your results almost immediately rather than wait six to eight weeks for confirmation. In addition, the LCL Awards qualification is open book, which means candidates are not expected to commit to memorise the British Standard and guidance notes; these will be available during assessment for reference. Both the City & Guilds and LCL Awards Periodic Inspection and Testing qualifications are awarded under the national RQF framework and regulated by Ofqual, using the same RQF units, with the same practical and knowledge outcomes and sector skills strategy. The assessment for the LCL Awards RQF, however, is marked initially by one of our Logic4training assessors, while the City & Guilds 2395Β written assessment has to be sent off for marking, which can take up to eight weeks for a result. In addition, the LCL Awards written assessments are completed as part of the course unlike the City & Guilds equivalent, which requires candidates to return at a later stage; perhaps not even the same week as the course, making learning quite fragmented. Our RQF qualification is also recognised by JIB as a route to obtaining an ECS card. The LCL Awards RQF Level 3 Award in Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations is for learners that wish to demonstrate their knowledge in Periodic Inspection, Testing and Condition Reporting of electrical systems. The course can provide a progression route from the LCL Awards Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (RQF).
