Petition for Prime time Carbon Monoxide TV warnings

 Jun, 22 - 2016   Gas

CO-Gas Safety has started an online petition to persuade the UK government to provide prime time TV warnings about carbon monoxide poisoning.

CO-Gas Safety has been lobbying since 1995 about the dangers posed by carbon monoxide poisoning and we are helping them share the petition in an effort to raise 100,000 signatures by the 20th September 2016.

  • Carbon monoxide (CO) is a deadly gas that can be emitted from faulty cooking/heating appliances powered by any carbon based fuel.
  • CO cannot be sensed using human senses.
  • Less than 2% of CO in the air can kill in between one and three minutes.
  • Awareness & education are key to prevention.

Logic4training has published many articles on the dangers of CO including an article about the possible links to dementia.

It is important that this country continues to make people aware of the dangers and eradicate any unnecessary deaths caused by the gas.
