Gas Safety Week is once again almost upon us. It takes place 19th – 25th September and is the industry’s biggest annual gas safety event.
Gas Safety Week is an industry-led awareness campaign coordinated by Gas Safe Register. The aim is to provide gas safety advice to the UK’s 23 million gas users.
It works to change people’s attitudes and behaviour by encouraging them to book an annual gas safety check with a registered engineer, or to check that their landlord has given them a record of the safety check having been done.
Every year Logic4training pledges its support and this year there are already over 3000 organisations ready to show their support.
Anyone can get involved, from sole traders to national companies, housing associations, Charity’s and DIY chains, it’s completely open to anyone.
When you pledge your support you will be sent a kit full of useful publicity tools. This includes:
- The Gas Safe week logo
- Social media updates
- Web banners
- Press release kit
- PDF flyers and posters
Once you have pledged you will be sent the pack annually. Click here to be a part of it
Share your stories
Gas Safe Register is calling on gas engineers to share their stories about how they have gone “above and beyond” for vulnerable people.
This has been an important part of the campaign for the last couple of years, with Gas Safe superhero “Doug” representing the sometimes life-saving work engineers do.
If you have a story that you would like to share email firstname.lastname@example.org
Get on Social Media
The main brunt of the promotion will occur on social media. If you are on Twitter and Facebook be prepared to get active!
