It’s under two weeks until Gas Safety Week, a time to remind customers about the importance of gas safety and an opportunity for Gas Safe Registered installers to generate new business from annual gas safety checks, and the updating of old appliances.
Taking place from the 15th – 21st September, if you’re a Gas Safe Registered engineer, you should have received information about how you can get involved with the campaign. Get in touch with the Gas Safe Register today and they’ll email you everything you need.
Free Gas Safety Week resources:
- Pre-made social media updates, ideal for posting on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Instagram – social media’s a great, free way to reach a large audience. We’re big supporters, and we will be looking out for #gassafetyweek tweets and posts to share with our followers.
- Updates for your website, including web banners, literature and copy, which can be easily uploaded onto your site, a great way to share information with your customers and let them know that you’re part of a nationally recognised campaign.
- Leaflets and posters, order for free and distribute them in your area. You may pick up new or repeat business by letting people know about the importance of gas safety.
- Articles and copy. Pre-made article for use in your own e-newsletter, or why not send to your local newspaper?
Whatever you use – all of the Gas Safe Register resources, or just your own word of mouth – any help informing people about gas safety will be gratefully received. All supporters’ names will feature on the Gas Safe Register’s website, providing another opportunity to promote your business.
Why not share your Gas Safety Week snaps? The Gas Safe Register wants to know what installers are doing in support of the scheme and will be uploading installers’ pictures on its website. Send your Gas Safety Week photos to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Gas Safety Week updates

Logic4training will also be posting blogs in support of the scheme, reminding you and your customers how to keep gas safe and the importance of using (and being) a Gas Safe Registered engineer. We’ll be doing lots on Twitter and Facebook too, so feel free to join in the conversation!
Installers! To stay gas safe (and Gas Safe Registered) you need to keep your ACS up to date. We deliver a range of domestic and commercial ACS courses.
