Covid-19: What are Logic4training doing to keep customers & staff safe?

We appreciate at this time of uncertainty the pandemic is having a huge impact on our lives. 

The Health and Safety of our employees and customers remain our number one priority and we have been working behind the scenes to implement further control measures at all centres. 

 

January 2021 update

With the spread of the new variant of COVID the management at Logic4training has taken the decision to make the wearing of face masks mandatory for customers when attending courses within the centres.

November 2020 update

Further to the Government announcement on the Saturday 31st October we want to clarify our position over the next month.

As Logic4training is part of the Construction and Utilities sectors our centres will remain open for business and we will be delivering our courses at all 4 centres (Northolt, Sittingbourne, Luton and Basildon) and taking bookings and enquiries via our main enquiry number 020 8845 7222 or by email on enquiries@logic4training.co.uk. This is also in line with HSE and GSR guidance that “Where ACS Assessment Centres can operate, they should continue to do so and follow Gov.uk advice on good hygiene. Gas Engineers should not attend if they are self-isolating.”

We have implemented from the beginning a range of measures to help ensure the safety of both our customers and staff and we would ask that when you attend our centre for your training you follow the instructions given by our staff at all times.

What we are doing 

  • We are continuously monitoring the guidance and advice provided by the UK Government and Public Health England.
  • We have reduced the number of people on each course and limited the number of candidates at each training centre to meet social distancing guidelines.
  • Implemented outside information and registration points to gather classes in the morning before going through to the centre, tea & coffee is provided at these points.
  • Perspex splash barriers have been installed in classrooms and desks placed appropriately.
  • We have invested in new PPE for the practical workshops including face-visors and disposable gloves.
  • We are redesigning customer flows through centres to minimise contact opportunities including floor marking/posters.
  • Additional hand sanitising stations have been set up, including the availably of antibacterial hand gel.
  • Unfortunately, due to health and safety, we are temporarily unable to provide our candidates with the free lunch and ask that you bring along your own ‘cold’ lunch as the microwave and some canteen facilities will be unavailable during this period. Tea, coffee, water and snacks will be available on the premises. Additional refreshment stations are being set up outside and inside to support social distancing measures.

If you are coming to a Logic4training centre, here’s what you need to do

  • Please bring your own cold packed lunch, we would recommend a sandwich and some snacks like fruit, crisps and a snack bar (the microwave and some canteen facilities will be unavailable which is why we ask you to bring a cold pack lunch) Please also bring your own refillable water bottle where possible.
  • You must wear a face mask. Please bring your own face mask, If you do not have a mask do not worry; you can purchase a mask from the main office at the front of the building for a small fee. (You can purchase masks daily if you are using disposable masks). All candidates and staff are required to wear a facemask in shared spaces whilst in the premises, particularly on arrival when entering the building, in corridors, classrooms and practical workshops.
  • On arrival at the centre please always view the course plan on the front door of the building and familiarise yourself with your room number (this may change through your course duration). A member of staff will give you further instructions on arrival before you make your way directly to your classroom for the start time of your course.
  • If during your course, you begin to feel unwell, please inform your trainer immediately and please do not feel alarmed if we ask you to leave the centre. We will of course reschedule your course when you are fit and well to re-attend.
  • The Customer Services team is available, however, if you are looking to purchase a training manual for your course (and it is not already included in the course), we would suggest that you order this in early preparation for your course by visiting www.logic4trade.co.uk and this will be delivered directly to your home address.
  • If you have a balance to pay for your course, please ensure that you contact us by telephone to settle your balance over the phone or alternatively make payment by bacs, our bank account and sort code is on your invoice.
