Time is running out for refrigeration and air-conditioning companies affected by the F-Gas regulations. By July 4th it will be a legal requirement for those organisations working with fluorinated gases to hold a full stationary equipment company certificate. To achieve this, businesses must prove that refrigeration engineers hold a recognised industry qualification.
Logic4training delivers the City & Guilds 2079-11 course in F-Gas and Ozone Depleting Substances, necessary for meeting the regulation. Training takes place over three or five days, depending on the operatives experience and knowledge.
After July 4th, any company carrying out stationary refrigeration, air conditioning or heat pump equipment work, without the appropriate certificate (either interim or full), will be committing an offence under the Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases Regulations 2009.
