How far in advance do I need to book?

For those who are renewing their ACS Gas Safety qualification, we would recommend booking at least four weeks ahead. During the peak demand year we would recommend booking at least eight weeks ahead.

Bookings can be accepted the day before if there is a space, so always phone the office on 0208 845 7222 to check.

Do I need to bring any tools?

No – all tools and equipment are provided during the courses. In some circumstances candidates may bring their own test equipment if they so desire, but please check beforehand.

What time do the courses start/finish?

All our course are full time. Courses start at 8.30am and usually finish at around 4.00pm. You will be advised on your first day at the centre if there are any changes to these times. The centre is open from 8.00am and there is tea & coffee awaiting.

How can I pay?

Payments can be made by cash, cheque, credit card, debit card or BACS ( Bank Account including the sort code on the invoice)

When do I need to pay?

To secure a place on all courses, a deposit needs to be paid when booking. Payment of the remaining balance must to be made 14 days before the start date of the course. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.

Will I receive my certificate at the end of the course?

No, although you will know the outcome. At the end of the course the paperwork will need to be sent to the Certification or Awarding Body for verification; they will then dispatch the certificate and ID card where applicable.

Do you provide the necessary books?

We provide all the necessary books and normative documents required for use whilst on the courses. Some courses include a training manual within the price. Some courses require the candidate to purchase a training manual prior to attending in order to do pre-course reading. Please refer to individual courses for further details. Candidates are also able to purchase certain training manuals directly from Logic4training.

Do I need to bring photos?

Yes – However Logic4training does have a photo booth on site for those courses that require a photograph.

Do I need to bring food or drink?

No – all refreshments and lunch are provided throughout the day. If you have booked with us and are vegetarian please let us know and we will provide vegetarian options.

What do I need to bring?

Candidates must bring some form of photo id such as a driving licence or passport. Candidates may also need to bring copies of previous certificates, if this is required it will be stated on your confirmation of booking letter. Always check your booking confirmation details carefully as these will confirm all the dates, venue, guidance and requirements. How do I get to Logic4training and is parking available?

For maps and directions please see the links for the London West centre in Northolt, the London East centre in Basildon and the Luton centre.

On-site parking is available at all our centres.

Do I have to do training?

Training is not mandatory as part of our courses although we feel it is of benefit to our candidates.  The price and duration of the course will be reduced for those wanting to do assessment only.

What is my Personal Learning Record (PLR) and Unique Learner Number (ULN)?

Your Personal Learning Record (PLR) is a central record of all QCF qualifications undertaken by you which can be viewed by yourself and certain organisations.

Your Unique Learner Number (ULN) is the individual reference number used to create your PLR.

The information you supply will be used by the Skills Funding Agency, an Executive Agency of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, to issue you with a Unique Learner Number (ULN), and to create your Personal Learning Record.
