Logic4training's Meter Operatives Code of Practice Agreement (MOCoPA) renewal course is for employed smart meter installers who work for a MOCoPA authorised businesses.
Covering either single phase or single off a multi-phase meter installation, the price includes Energy & Utilities Skills Register (EUSR) registration.
Suitable candidates must be put forward by their employer.
This one day MOCoPA renewal course is designed for existing, employed smart meter installers.
Including refresher sessions in both the morning and afternoon, the course culminates in observed and practical written assessments. Candidates can choose to assessed on either single phase or single off a multi-phase meter installation.
EUSR renewal registration is included in the price.
Operatives must be put forward by their employer and hold a current MOCoPA certificate, a copy of which must be provided to Logic4training.
It is assumed candidates are experienced and skilled metering operatives.
The course covers the following areas:
- Refresher on power and meter exchange fundamentals
- Customer interaction, as outlined by the Smart Meter Installer Code of Practice (SMICoP)
- National Skills Academy for Power (NSAP) competency assessment – split into written and practical elements
The practical assessment is in-centre, consisting of a power meter exchange/installation and customer service questions, in relation to the SMICoP.
The meter exchange assessment can be undertaken for either:
- Single phase
- Single phase off a multi-phase
