Look no further, Logic4training apprenticeships are here!

We are launching new gas engineering and smart metering apprenticeships this summer, offering a way into the trades for candidates aged 19 and over. Apprenticeships provide a number of benefits over other types of training; apprentices get to ‘earn while they learn’ and are likely to walk straight into a job at the end. Available from our Northolt and Luton centres, we’ll match you with a suitable employer, provide in-centre training and assessment and support you through the whole process.

Join an in-demand sector!

Gas and smart metering engineers are in-demand, with gas in particular providing the ideal starting point for other types of heating, including renewable technologies, such as heat pumps. In short, you’re unlikely to be stuck for work if you get into the trades!

Make money from the start!

As an apprentice, you’ll get paid the minimum wage, and once you’re qualified, the skies the limit. New gas engineers, for example, can expect a starting salary of around £32,500 – which is well above the national UK average salary of £25,844. Research shows that gas engineers are amongst the highest earners in the trades.

Mark Krull, Director for Logic4training: “The UK needs 250,000 more tradespeople by 2030 – more than 800 every week. If we do not have enough people with heating, plumbing and electrical engineering skills, we will not be able to deliver the low carbon heat and power required to reduce the carbon emissions from domestic buildings.

“If you care about the environment and want to join a future-proof sector, then the building services trades is for you!

“What’s more, the trades will not be negatively affected by AI. Trades people are not going to be taken over by robots anytime soon, making our new apprenticeships a great choice for anyone with job security on their mind.”

Logic4training is aiming to launch its apprenticeships in the summer of 2024. Before that, we will start the process of matching employers and apprentices.

Why Logic4training?

We have over 20 years’ experience training plumbers, heating engineers and electricians in essential industry qualifications.

Our class sizes are small, our tutors are experienced and friendly, and our facilities are state-of-the-art, providing the best-possible learning environment.

Because we’re not a college, we’re not governed by term times, which means you won’t have to wait for September to get going and training takes place all year round.

In-centre training will be delivered in chunks (1-2 weeks at a time), so when you return to the workplace, you’ll have useful skills that can be applied straight away.

Your apprenticeship is just the start. We deliver a broad range of trades-based qualifications, which means you can add different skills, such as commercial heating, renewables and property maintenance, as your career develops.

We won’t be launching the apprenticeships till the summer of 2024, but we will be contacting those who have registered their interest. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact Logic4training’s dedicated apprenticeship team if you have any questions.

We look forward to creating an exciting path for you to enter the trades!
