Zach recently completed his Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing and Heating, making the move from data entry to a career in the skilled trades. Over the six-week course, he gained a strong mix of practical skills and classroom knowledge, helping him build confidence in his new trade.
Course Highlights
Zach enjoyed the combination of classroom and practical learning. He particularly enjoyed the practical elements of the course, finding the hands-on experience and real-world insights incredibly valuable.
“The combination of classroom learning and practical learning has given me a good balance between knowledge and skill. […] I think I enjoyed the practical side of things the most. Not to say that the classroom learning wasn’t enjoyable, it definitely was, but I think getting real insights into how plumbing works and getting some hands-on practice was really useful and we had fun with it in our class.”
Skilled Instructor
Zach gave a big shout out to his plumbing trainer, Will, highlighting his contributions to the enjoyable learning experience and praises his teaching, which resulted in the whole class passing their exams.
