17th Edition Wiring Regulations training

The three-day 17th Edition Wiring Regulations course provides the qualification required by operatives who are members of, or who are looking to become member of, any Part P Competent Person Schemes (CPS). The course content focuses on the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, BS7671 and candidates will be assessed by a two-hour online, multiple choice exam.

Course content includes:

  • Selection and sizing of cables
  • Bonding requirements
  • Layout of the regulations
  • New definitions

  • Special locations such as bathrooms, marinas and fairgrounds.

Course must-haves

There are no pre-requisites for the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations course; however, some experience of electrical installations is essential. Candidates must also have purchased a copy of the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, which can be bought from centres, or Logic4trade, prior to the course start date.
