Tip #23: Get ready for the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

 Dec, 23 - 2018   Electrical

The New Year is just around the corner and so are the new 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

Introduced in July 2018, from January 1st they become mandatory and all electricians and trades people carrying out domestic electrical work will need to update their qualifications over the coming months to demonstrate an understanding of the new regulations and changes.

Who are the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations relevant to?

17th Edition Qualified:

Existing electricians and other building services engineers whose jobs involve electrical work and who already hold the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Amendment (AMD3) qualification.

We offer a one day 18th Edition Wiring Regulations top-up course which covers all the revisions.

Don’t panic! Tradespeople in this group have until July 2019 to bring their training up to date. For more information on this course, click here.

New learners:

For new learners, Logic4training offers City & Guilds’ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (2382-18) training course, designed for electricians, as well as other buildings services engineers such as gas installers, kitchen/bathroom fitters, plumbers and builders who are required to complete some domestic electrical work, such as wiring in a boiler or shower.
