Gas training courses arm heating engineers with the knowledge of how to keep customers safe in their homes. In the gas industry we know what to look for in a flame but do your customers know?

Most of us realise that carbon monoxide is potentially Lethal but public awareness is sometimes taken for granted and people still die of carbon monoxide poisoning every year.

There have been calls to make CO alarms mandatory in homes across England and Wales. You might have seen some of the petitions going around supporting this issue but for now the best thing we can do as professionals in the gas industry, is keep people informed, stay up to date with training and regulations and recommend that customers without CO alarms purchase one immediately.

Below is a short video explaining the gas flame and the symptoms of CO poisoning. We would encourage you to share this video and spread the word of gas safety!
