APHC (Training) are giving away training rewards worth £150 to 100 plumbing and heating companies!
The cost of staying up to date with training is a big outlay to plumbing and heating companies. Many training courses, such as ACS Qualifications, are mandatory requirements of your trade, others support expansion of businesses by upskilling tradespeople to offer new services.
APHC (Training), the educational arm of the APHC (Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors), is administering a reward scheme, where plumbing and heating companies can apply for £150 to be used for a certified course with a recognised training provider such as APHC, BPEC, City & Guilds and all UKAS approved ACS providers (like Logic4training!).
The aim of the scheme is to incentivise plumbing and heating engineers to update their knowledge and skills to help safeguard the long-term professional development of the industry.
Companies can use APHC Training Rewards to help employee development through a wide range of topics, including:
- Building Regulations
- Gas Accreditation
- Renewable Technologies
- Water Regulations
Twenty-five rewards will be made available to claim each quarter on a first-come-first-served basis. Applications have been high in previous years, so you need to act quickly if you want to benefit.
You do not have to be a member of APHC to apply.
APHC Training Rewards are available to companies who have received rewards in previous years.
If you’re interested, you need to download the relevant training form (links below), complete it and return it for initial approval. Courses must be completed by the end of 2017. Invoices and certificates of completion must be sent to APHC who will then pay the reward.
