Who is this periodic inspection & testing course for?

This testing and inspection training course is for experienced electricians who are responsible for periodic inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations.

This modular LCL Awards Level 3 suite allows electricians to either specialise in Initial Verification or Periodic Inspection individually or complete both qualifications as their on-site experience progresses.

What are the entry requirements for the periodic inspection & testing course?

This course is for experienced and practising electricians. Operatives should have at least 12 months on-site experience in initial inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations, using suitable test equipment and completing the relevant forms as per BS7671, including Minor Works Electrical Installation Certificates and Full Electrical Installation Certificates.

Operatives must hold the City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (or equivalent), a Level 3 Initial Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations qualification, and have a practical working knowledge of both domestic and commercial electrical installations, including 3-phase installations. Additionally, operatives must hold one of the following:
