Logic4training’s 3-Phase Meter Installation and Exchange Training Course is a 5-day training programme for experienced domestic smart meter installers with at least 12 months experience on Single-Phase, Multi-Rate and Single-Phase off Multi-Phase Power meter installations. Candidates should be CoMCoP/SMIS/SMICOP trained.
Learners will undertake learning at our training centre. This enables learners to practice and learn installing and exchanging 3-Phase Power smart meters in a safe and controlled environment which simulates real work situations.
The course includes initial CoMCoP assessments and NSAP approved assessments for EUSR registration.
The assessment is split into written and observed practical elements. The practical part consists of a witnessed in-centre power meter exchange/installation, including CoMCoP/SMIS/SMICOP questions regarding customer service.
The cost of the course includes training, assessment and EUSR registration.
At least 12 months experience on Single-Phase, Multi-Rate and Single-Phase off Multi-Phase supplies. Should be CoMCoP/SMIS/SMICOP trained.

The CoMCoP/MOCoPA assessment covers fault boards, earth and neutral faults, focusing on either:
- Single-Phase meter exchange
- Single-Phase off a Multi-Phase supply meter exchange
You will be able to remove, install, exchange and replace 3-Phase Smart Electric Meters.
Following this course, installers can look to upskill in Gas Smart Meters, Dual Fuel Smart Meters, and Heavy Duty Cut Out (HDCO) Awareness.
