Are you maximising your business online?
According to research carried out by ratedpeople.com, a whopping 89 per cent of people surveyed believe that online reviews are important when choosing a tradesman, with an increasing number of home owners reading reviews and recommendation when trying to find an electrician to undertake work.
The research highlights just how important it is for those operating in the electrical sector to maximise their online presence to help secure more business leads and boost their business credentials.
Ratedpeople.com claim online marketplaces have fast become the most popular place to search for electricians and are a great way of plugging business with the creation of online profiles, photos of work that has been undertaken – all showing the high quality of work you achieve.
Online profiles are also a great opportunity to shout about your qualifications and (on-going) investment in training. A course proving popular currently across our centres is our City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course for experienced electricians and those requiring a working knowledge of the British Standard BS7671:2018.
The three-day course is currently running at our Northolt, Luton and Basildon centres, which includes training, assessment, registration with City & Guilds and the examination cost.
Once you’ve completed a course, don’t forget to mention your new training and/or qualifications online to show prospective customers that you are a competent engineer, continually working to achieve high standards through top quality training!
