Could you be the UK Plumber of the Year?
The search for the UK’s best plumber has begun again, launched for the third year running by JT, Plumb Center and Bristan. Open for entries from yesterday (3rd April), the award looks to recognise talented plumbers across the UK, with a generous prize fund awarded to the winner.
If you think you could be in with a chance, visit http://www.ukplumberoftheyear.com/ for more information.
You can also keep up to date via @UKPOTY on Twitter and https://www.facebook.com/UKPlumberoftheYear – Entrants will need to provide details about one job that shows the full extent of their plumbing prowess; whether that’s solving complex problems, going above and beyond for a customer, or a bit of both.
A judging panel made up of experts from JT, Bristan and Plumb Center will then shortlist 15 of the best. The final ‘2017 Plumber of the Year’ will be chosen by the public.
Last year’s winner, Shaun Scott, from Insch in Scotland said: “Being named 2016’s Plumber of the Year was a genuine surprise as there were a number of outstanding plumbers in the running who are out there plying their trade perfectly day-in-day-out, so to be recognised in this way was a real honour.
“The prize fund and title has made a huge impact on the success of my business, allowing me to take my trade to the next level and given me an amazing platform to work from with many new opportunities thanks to the widespread media exposure.”
Paul Crossley, managing director of JT, said: “We love running this competition and are thrilled to be making it bigger than ever this year. It’s hard to believe we’re about to launch our third Plumber of the Year competition and we’re very proud of the prestigious award it has become.”
