Logic4training’s LPG Changeover Package is for registered domestic gas operatives who wish to upskill into LPG fired appliances - for domestic properties and other locations, such as boats and caravans.
Suitable candidates must hold a current core gas safety qualification i.e. CCN1, COCN1, CCCN1 certificate. The course includes CONGLP1 PD; installation servicing and repair of domestic appliances in permanent dwellings.
The LPG Changeover and Categories course is designed for experienced gas engineers who already a current core gas safety qualification i.e. CCN1, COCN1, CCCN1 certificate
The course covers LPG fired appliances in permanent dwellings; other premises types, such as boats, caravans and residential park homes can be undertaken as part of the package if required.

Operatives must hold a Core Natural Gas Safety certificate i.e. CCN1, COCN1, CCCN1 plus the appliance-types they wish to work on.
For example, to work on a an LPG fired cooker on a boat, operatives must hold the following:
- Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1)
- Cookers (CKR1)
- LPG Changeover (CONGLP1)
- Boats (CONGLP B)
You must be registered with Gas Safe for a minimum of six-months to do this course. Find out more
The LPG Changeover and Categories training course is for experienced operatives who wish to undertake the commissioning, installation, servicing and repair of LPG appliances in permanent dwellings and other premise types.
The package includes training and assessment on the following modules:
- CONGLP1PD – LPG Changeover (Including Permanent Dwellings)
- OPTIONAL
- CONGLP1 B – Boats
- CONGLP1 LAV – Leisure Accommodation Vehicles
- CONGLP1 RPH – Residential Park Homes
- HTRLP2 – LPG Close Fue Gas Fires
