Domestic Electrical Courses

Logic4training’s Domestic Electrical courses are aimed at installers looking to expand their skills to include basic wiring and testing and inspection.

The 3 electrical training courses below can be taken individually or can be undertaken as part of the New Entrant Domestic Electrical Installer (NEDEI) package.

Logic4training’s Part P training course is a practical course designed for installers who carry out some electrical work, usually as a secondary role; such as wiring in a boiler, cooker or shower. A Part P qualification, alongside the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations, plus suitable experience, is necessary to join a recognised Competent Persons Scheme (CPS) and for notification of works to Local Authority Building Control.

Logic4training’s 17th Edition Wiring Regulations training course (City & Guilds 2382-15) is for electricians, as well as other buildings services engineers (gas installers, kitchen/bathroom fitters, plumbers and builders) who complete some domestic electrical work, such as wiring in a boiler or shower. Knowledge of 17th Edition, alongside a Part P qualification, is necessary to join a recognised Competent Persons Scheme.

Logic4training runs the industry recognised Logic Certification equivalent of the City & Guilds 2394 Level 3 Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations course. This Testing and Inspection training course is for experienced electricians who are responsible for the initial verification and certification of electrical installations.

This course is for operatives who may need to isolate electrical services before commencing work on either the electrical installation or connected appliances. The course covers the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations (HSR25).
