Course Highlights
Real-World Preparation
Zack believes that the mix of classroom and practical experience has given him the knowledge and skills required for the real world.
“I’ve had a lot of classroom based and practical experience which has definitely helped my knowledge and I’m ready to put that into the real world.”
Course Intensity Eased Thanks to Helpful Staff
Prior to starting the course, Zack was worried he would be overwhelmed since he believed there would be a lot of information to take in within 6- weeks. Since completing, he realised that not only was completion of the course very possible, but also a very good thing to do.
He attributes his completion to the staff who want to help you to achieve the best, but also admits that you have to put in the work yourself to get the best results.
“It’s a lot of knowledge to take in within 6 weeks, but it’s easy to do. I think it was a really good centre, really helpful. The staff want you to do the best. They help you where they can. You just got to help yourself at the same time.”
Career Prospects
Successful completion of the LCL Level 2 Diploma in the Installation & Maintenance of Plumbing & Heating Systems provides learners with the core knowledge and practical skills required to work effectively in the plumbing and heating industry. Graduates will be well-positioned to pursue roles such as a domestic plumber, heating engineer, or maintenance technician.
If you are looking to work on-site, you will also need to partake in the LCL Awards NVQ in Plumbing and Heating qualification. This course is a necessary requirement to apply for a JIB Plumbing CSCS card, a card which provides proof that a person can work on a construction site.
