To become a qualified gas engineer in the UK, you must successfully complete the ACS gas practical and theoretical elements of the CCN1 and appliances qualifications. After successful completion, you will be able to sign up to the Gas Safe Register and legally work as a gas engineer.
The Domestic Gas Heating Installer Experienced Trades Route is a hands-on gas training package that contains the Gas Managed Learning Programme (MLP), specifically the DNGA3 – Domestic Natural Gas Appliances (Central Heating Boilers & Instantaneous Water Heaters). This MLP provides you with all the practical skills and underpinning knowledge needed to work as a domestic Gas Safe Register engineer. Our Experienced Trades Gas Packages have been designed for clear routes into the gas industry, with options to upskill to work on more domestic appliances, commercial gas, LPG, and/or heat pumps.
