Enjoyed Hands-on Elements

“I enjoyed the practical part of the training a lot. That was fun. So when we did the pipe work, that was very very good. Installing the unvented water heaters as well, that was very very fun. Keith was training us and he’s a great teacher.”

Where can I do the course?
The Domestic Gas Heating Installer Course is available only at our Northolt Centre.
The Gas Managed Learning Programme is available at all of our centres, in Northolt, Luton, Basildon and Sittingbourne.
Are there any entry requirements?
There are no entry requirements for our New Entrants route, but candidates will be assessed on their suitability. Candidates must also have a good understanding of Maths and English.
Is this qualification recognised by Gas Safe?
Yes, completing this course and passing the ACS assessment enables you to apply for Gas Safe registration, which is legally required to work as a gas engineer in the UK.
Does the MLP course include Hot Water Systems and Energy Efficiency training?
Yes, selected MLP training packages cover these areas. As not all providers include them in their packages, it’s worth checking what is covered before choosing a course.
Can I do this course on Weekends?
Yes, you can complete both the Domestic Gas Heating Installer Course and Gas Managed Learning Programme on Weekends, but only at our Northolt centre. Each course would take 3 months to complete.
